Mandy Mastropasqua announces that she will be attending Pine Manor College in Massachusetts
Mandy had an outstanding student/athletic career for the YES! Program. Mandy was a key member of the 2012 & 2013 YES! 5th & 6th Grade Girls Division II National Championship team. Her outstanding ball handling skills and man-to-man defensive abilities are areas where she excelled in.
‘According to Coach Dudley Davis, “Mandy was a dream to coach because she was a good listener, had a good understanding of the game, great teammate to her peers, and a fierce defensive competitor….At the end of the game, Mandy is one of those players you want on the floor to create turnovers and make good decisions on and off the ball, when the game is on the line”.
Mandy was a three year starter at Deering High School. She was a stabilizing force in the backcourt, and often drew the assignment of guarding the opposing team’s leading scorer.
Mandy looks forward to playing in the Great South Athletic Conference, under Head Coach, Julie Plant, at Pine Manor College in Massachussetts.
